Filter Viewer

The Filter Viewer tool allows users to view a filtered set of assets using filters that were saved in the Lucity desktop application.

Module

Select the type of module this filter is for, i.e., Inventory, Inspection, etc...

Asset Type

Select the type of asset to view a filter of, i.e., Sewer Pipe, Water Hydrant

Inspection Module

Select which inspection module to find the saved filter in. This is only enabled if Inspection was selected under the Module option.

Filters

This provides a list of filters from the module selected above. If the selection is Inventory > Sewer Pipes, this will show a list of all filters saved in the Sewer Pipe Inventory module. Loading one of these filters will select the filtered sewer pipes in the map. If the selection was Inspection > Sewer Pipes > PACP Inspections this will show a list of all filters saved in the Sewer PACP Inspection module. Loading one of these filters will select the sewer pipes related to those inspections.

My Filters Only

This narrows the list of filters down to only the ones the current user created.

 

 

How To Load a Filter

  1. Select the Filter Viewer tool Filter viewer button.The Filter Viewer form will appear:

  2. Select the module type that the filter is for.

  3. If in the previous step the module selection was: Asset Inventory, Asset Inspection/Testing then specify the asset type:

  4. If the module selection was Asset Inspection/Testing specify the Inspection/Testing module based upon the selected asset type.

  5. After specifying the module, the Filters grid will be loaded with all the filters saved for that module.

    Note: Check the My Filters Only box, to limit the list to filters created by the current user.

  6. Highlight the desired filter and click OK.
  7. While processing the progress will be displayed on the lower right toolbar. When completed a message box will appear that indicates the number of records found. The features will be selected in the map and the map will zoom to all selected features.
