Users can search for specific assets quickly using the Lucity search tool

How To Find a feature

1. Select an asset type from the drop down list.
   • Only asset types for feature classes that are currently in the map are shown in the drop down list
   • The "All Asset Types" option will search all feature classes linked to Lucity. Using this option will take longer to process.

   

2. Next, enter the asset ID (Facility ID) for the asset and click Find.
   • Wildcards can be used in the search parameter.
   1. Use * for any number of characters. For example, 1269*8 will find any feature where the ID starts with 1269 and ends with 8
   2. Use ? for a set number of characters. For example, 1269?8 will find any feature where the ID is six characters in length and it starts with 1269 and ends with 8
3. A dialog will appear indicating the results of the search. If any features are found that meet the criteria the map will zoom to the features and they will be selected.
