View Test Dates for Backflow Devices

This tool will graphically display your next backflow device test dates as another instance of your backflow device feature class in the map.  This instance will have some Lucity inventory data for the backflow device joined to the attribute table.  The symbology for the layer is based on the next test date (BF_NTST_DT) of the backflow device.  Devices with an earlier next test date will appear yellow; devices with a later next test date will appear red.

To view your next backflow device tests dates in the map:

1. In ArcMap, add your water backflow device layer to the map.
2. Click Tools > View Test Dates for Backflow Devices on the Lucity GIS toolbar.
3. The length of time the tool takes to run depends on the number of backflow devices you have in the Lucity database.  A progress bar located in the bottom left-hand corner of the ArcMap window will show the status of the tool.
4. When completed, another instance of your water backflow device layer will be added to the map.  This instance will have an alias name of the "Next Backflow Testing Dates".
