Assign Sewer Flow Basin

The flow basin for sewer pipes and sewer structures can be updated using the Assign Sewer Flow Basin tool.  This tool will update the flow basin for all the sewer pipe and/or sewer structure features currently selected in the map.

1. To change the sewer flow basin for selected features in the map, click the Assign Sewer Flow Basin tool. The following dialog will appear requesting a basin name.

   

2. You can choose to enter a new basin name or select an existing basin from the drop down list.  Click OK when a name has been entered.

   

   The above message is displayed warning you that this process cannot be undone.  Consult the system administrator if there are any questions regarding backing up the sewer database.

3. Click OK to continue and update the sewer flow basin for the selected features.
