To assign sidewalk problems or defects to the latest Sidewalk Inspection record in the desktop, complete the following steps:
Click on this tool . You will see the following window informing you that this tool allows you to assign problem locations to the most recent Sidewalk Inspection record. Follow the directions in this dialog to complete the process.
With the mouse, left click on each defect location. The Sidewalk Defect dialog box will appear:
In this dialog, select the type of defect, assign a rating, and then click OK. A green dot will be added to the map for each defect location. Continue this process for each defect location needed.
When you have finished assigning defect locations, right click in the map. You'll see this menu:
Select Update Lucity. When the update is complete, you'll receive a prompt informing you how many defects were successfully added to the Sidewalk Inspection module.
