The Costs tab allows you to specify the cost of running the vehicle. Among other things, you can enter the purchase date, received date, purchase amount, service life, and usable hours for the vehicle. Several fields contain values calculated by the system. These fields are described in the table below:

Full Depreciation Date

This is the date expected for the item to be fully depreciated. The user can modify this value, but the default calculation is: Received Date + Service Life = Full Depreciation Date. |
Service Life |
If the user enters a Full Depreciation Date and Purchase Date but not a Service Life value, the system will calculate the Service Life in the following manner: Full Depreciation Date - Received Date = Service Life Note: You will receive an error message if the Full Depreciation Date is not greater than the Received Date. |
