Some Views and Forms contain Toolkits. These Toolkits provide users with special functions designed specifically for each module. Functions perform actions like populating completion dates, recalculating all costs, and sending notifications.
How To Use a Toolkit
In preparation to running a toolkit users should be aware of what the toolkit will do. Toolkits run against:
Every record in the module
The current filterset
Selected records
Perform any necessary actions before running to toolkit, ie. select the records to run against, or setup a filter of records to run against.
Click on the Toolkit button and select a function from the list.
What happens next depends on the toolkit function.
Some will run automatically, without any other input from the user.
Some will provide a pop-up window for the user to enter data, or select something before the function runs.
Fill out any required data and the click OK.
When the function has completed a message will appear letting the user know.
