Task Setup

Lucity's Work Task Setup module allows an agency to document the tasks it performs as part of its work responsibilities. Task details can then be carried over to Work Orders and PMs to speed up data entry. Administrators can also link Tasks to other types of Work Flow Setup records, prompting the system to automatically add those records to Work Orders and PMs as well.

To access the Task Setup module, select Work > Administration > Work Flow Setup > Task Setup.

In the Work > Administration > Work Flow Setup> Task Setup module, click the button. The Setup Task form appears.
Enter a Task code and Task Text to uniquely identify the work activity (required).
Indicate whether this Task is currently an Active Task.
Use the check boxes to indicate whether this Task should be available as an option on:
- Work Orders and/or PMs.
- the Timesheet.
- the Daily Work Inspection module.
If the Work Order Enabled or PM Enabled boxes are checked mark whether the task can be used as a Main Task and/or Sub Task.
Fill out other fields as necessary.
Click the button to save the record. The new Task Setup record now appears in the grid.
