Getting Started

To access the security system, complete the following steps:

  1. Under your Start menu select Programs>>Lucity>>Lucity Tools>>Lucity Security. The Security Login screen will appear.
  2. Select your client.
  3. Click . The Password screen will appear.

  4. Enter the password.
  5. After logging in, the Security Setup window will appear.

  6. Select Security>>Setup. The Security window will appear.

    The Security window is your primary screen. This window allows you to add, edit, delete, and view various groups and user permissions.

  7. For new installations, Lucity provides a number of ready-to-use security groups. For basic maintenance and to potentially improve the system's performance, you may wish to begin by deleting security groups that are unrelated to the modules you have purchased.

Warning: DO NOT DELETE the following security groups as they are used by Lucity: Default, Administrator, PublicWebGroup, GIS Administrator, and GIS User.
