Validating Custom Geodatabase Setup

This validation utility will be shipped with versions 6.72 and up.  It may be requested for version 6.71.  This tool may not work for users with versions of ArcGIS lower than ArcGIS 9.1.

  1. To access this tool, select the button on the Custom Geodatabase Synchronizer toolbar.
  2. There are two parts to the geodatabase validation: Validation of the custom geodatabase setup based on the desktop requirements and business rules, and validation of the custom geodatabase setup against your geodatabase to ensure that the setup is valid based on your data structure.  Initially, only the validation of your custom geodatabase setup based on the desktop requirements is performed.  If no critical errors are encountered during that validation, it will continue the validation and validate against your custom geodatabase to make sure feature class names, field names, and field types are valid based on your setup.
