Always Update Length/Area

This flag indicates whether the Lucity GIS extension should update the feature class length field when spatial edits are made within an ArcMap edit session. Special requirements are needed for the name of the Length field; this tool will only update length/area fields that meet one of the following naming requirements:

• Polyline feature class

  Field Name = "LENGTH"

  Field Name = "LENGTH (FT)"

  Field Alias Name = "LENGTH"

  Field Alias Name = "LENGTH (FT)"

• Polygon feature class

  Field Name = "AREA"

  Field Alias Name = "AREA"
