LiveData Tool

The ArcGIS LiveData tool provides you with a way to look at live Work Orders and Requests in the map as they are submitted to your desktop system. You'll use an ArcMap project specially configured for this purpose. As new Work Orders or Requests are added to the desktop, new points, lines, and/or polygons are automatically added to the map. These represent the X/Y coordinates, addresses, or features in the desktop. This tool allows you to quickly and easily see where all work locations are in your system.

Every time an asset is removed from or added to a Work Order or Request, a record is added to the Lucity database. The LiveData tool watches this process and writes data to a spatial database that you can load into ArcMap; this is the Repository.
