Work orders and requests are now linked as a group rather than in a linear fashion. For example, if you create a new work order and link it to a request, the new work order will then be linked to all existing work orders that are also linked to that request. This means...
Note: Works Orders that are linked to other Work Orders are grouped in this same manner. For example, if you create a new Work Order and link it to an existing Work Order that already has two other Work Orders linked to it, now all four Work Orders (this includes the new one) are linked.
Here's another example:
If work orders A and B are linked and work orders C and D are linked and then you link B to C, all four work orders will be linked together.
If you want to disassociate a work order from the "grouping", go to any work order record in that group other than the one you want to disassociate. Go to the Associated Work Orders grid, right click on the work order you want to disassociate, and select to disassociate it from all work orders. This will disassociate the work order you have selected in the grid from the work order grouping.
