Readings Tab

The Readings tab allows you to view previous meter readings for a piece of equipment.  At a glance, you can view each meter reading and the date it took place.  Although most meter readings are created in the Equipment Readings module, you can add a meter reading from here.  This expedites the entering process; however, if you are entering multiple records, we recommend using the Equipment Readings module instead.

To add a meter reading, complete the following steps:

1. Right click in the Readings grid and select Add Record. The Equipment Readings module will open.  
2. Add your record. For information on the fields in this module, consult the Equipment Readings help topic.

   Note:  When adding a meter reading from Equipment Inventory, the Equipment ID is automatically inserted in the new meter reading record.

3. Click to save the record.
4. Click to escape Add Mode.
5. Click to close the window.

To view or edit a meter reading record, right click on the record and select View Record or Edit Record.
