The Notification Setup module is designed for users to create templates that can be used to send out automated system notifications. Using the notification module helps keep employees up to date on work and other important information, and automate informational emails to customers. Once the notification templates are setup here, other modules will need to be configured to use them.

Note: Users can view any field definition by right clicking + Ctrl in that field.
To access the notifications module, in the menu select General > Notification Setup. This window will pop up.
Header Data
Notification Label
Stores a unique name for the Notification. This name will be used to select this template when configuring notifications in other modules.
Notification Type
Specifies what type of notification this is (email, report, etc...)
Notification Module
Specifies which module the notification will be used in.
General Tab
Contains configuration fields all types of Notifications.
Email Body and Email Options tabs
Specifically for Email Notifications.
Notification Formats:
There are four formats available for notifications:
Email
Text Messages
Reports (sent to printers)
Lucity Messenger (pop-up messages)
Multiple notifications can be created for each module or using each format; however, certain notification types (such as the Customer Thank You) can only be sent via email. Information from within the modules can also be inserted automatically into the subject line or body of email notifications.
