Report Notifications

The Report notifications feature provides a way to set up default Work Order and Request reports that are automatically printed out. This can either be at a designated printer or the default printer for the computer triggering the notification. Settings within the Work modules will control when the notification is sent.

  1. Click on the module toolbar to add a new record.
  2. Enter a unique title for the notification in the Notification Label field. This is the label that will appear in relevant notification pick lists.
  3. Select “Report to Printer” or “Report to Default Printer” as the notification type.
  4. If “Report to Printer,” is selected the user should then designate which printer they want the report sent to using the button.
  5. If “Report to Default Printer,” the report will be sent to the default printer for the workstation that saved the request or work order.

    Note: the Recipient list and Subject fields will be grayed out, as they do not apply to this type of notification.

  6. Select the module this notification will be used for.

    Note: The report notifications will only work with Work Order and Request Notifications specifically based on Tasks and Problems.

  7. Select a report from the “Request Report” pick list and/or the Work Report pick list.

    Note: The report pick lists come directly from the Request and Work Order module. A report can be selected from both pick lists.

  8. Click to save the report notification
