Maintenance Log Tab

The Maintenance Log tab stores information related to facility upkeep. The Next Log Date field appears at the top of the tab. It is updated automatically by the most recent Maintenance Log. Below that field is a grid that displays all maintenance logs for this facility, including the type of maintenance log submitted, the date it was submitted, and the next due date.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

How To Add a Maintenance Record

  1. Right-click in the Maintenance grid and select Add Record. The following dialog box will appear:

    FOG_maintenance

  2. Fill in the Log Type and the Submitted Log Date.
  3. Complete the Log Freq and Log Freq Units fields. The Next Log Due Date is calculated automatically. Or, enter the Next Log Due Date manually.

    Note: The Log Type and Next Log Due Date fields are required and must form a unique combination.

  4. Save the record.
  5. The Next Log Due field on the Maintenance Logs tab is updated by the Next Log Due Date field.
  6. The system automatically checks the Next Log Complete checkbox on the previous Maintenance Log record.
