Resources Tab

This tab allows you to associate the resources required to complete one crew day's worth of work for a task.  You can associate employees, equipment, materials, etc.

To add resources to a task, right click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:

Daily Resources

  1. Select your resource type (Employee, Equipment, Material, etc.).
  2. Select a resource from the available list.  Press F9 to view the pick list. 

    Note: The list of available resources will vary depending on which resource type you selected. The available Materials, Fluids, and Contractors will come from the corresponding Materials, Fluids, and Contractors Work Flow Setup modules. The available Employees and Equipment resources will come from the Classification module, not from the Employee and Equipment Work Flow Setup modules.

  3. Enter the unit cost of the resource. 

    Note: If a unit cost was entered in the corresponding Material, Fluid, Contractor, or Classification Work Flow Setup module, it will be automatically populated in the Unit Cost field.

  4. Enter the amount of resource to be used in the Quantity field.
  5. The Total Cost field calculates the total cost of the resource based on the unit cost and the quantity.
  6. Click to save the resource record.
