The Sewer FOG Facilities module has a notification feature that provides a way to quickly send emails to the parties responsible for facilities that are part of the FOG program. These emails could be used to send out reminders that tests need to be performed, maintenance logs are due, or that corrective actions need to be completed.
The email will go to every recipient in the email template's recipient list as well as the email address in either the Contact Email or Owner Email field (depending on the toolkit function used) for each Facility in the current filterset.
FOG/IPT Notification emails aren't triggered automatically. They are sent using the "Send Contact Email Notification for Filterset" or "Send Owner Email Notification for Filterset" functions found in the corresponding Facility Inventory Toolkit.
Note: The Contact Email and Owner Email field on the Contacts tab MUST be filled out for the corresponding notification to be sent.
Notification templates are created in the General > Notification Setup module. When the FOG/IPT Facility Inventory toolkit functions are used, the user selects which template to use.
