In the Warehouse Inventory > Parts module, click the to expand the desired Parts Inventory record. The tool is only available to records whose Quantity > 0.
Click the Toolkit in the Inventory grid and select the Adjust Inventory Quantity (-) | Selected Record tool. A pop-up appears with the Part Number and Location auto-populated:
The Part Number, Part Description, Location ID and Location Description will be populated.
The Max Quantity indicates the current quantity. Enter a Quantity number to decrease the quantity of this part at this particular Warehouse Location (required). The Quantity must be < Max Quantity.
Enter a Date (required). This value will populate with today's date but can be changed.
The system automatically provides the text "Removed Thru Parts Module" in the Reference Num field. Change the default text as desired.
Complete other fields as desired.
Click OK. The tool will run and the decreased quantity will appear in the Inventory grid.
Enter Inventory Count | Selected Record
Enters the current inventory quantity for Parts that exist at a selected Warehouse Location. The system will adjust inventory counts according to your input increase or decrease.
Note: In the Lucity Mobile applications, a toolkit by this name does not exist; however, the applications offer a comparable toolkit called Part Stock Count.
In the Warehouse Inventory > Parts module, click the to expand the desired Part record.
Open the Inventory grid and select one Inventory record for which you wish to enter inventory count.
Click the Toolkit in the Inventory grid and select Enter Inventory Count | Selected Record. A pop-up similar to the following opens:
The Part Number, Part Description, From Location ID, From Location Description, Original Quantity and Per Item Cost will be populated and are read-only.
Enter an inventory count in the Quantity for this particular Warehouse Location (required).
If the count is greater than the Original Quantity, the system will automatically calculate the positive Adjustment.
If the count is less than the Original Quantity, the system will automatically calculate the negative Adjustment.
If the count is the same as the Original Quantity, the Adjustment is calculated and recorded as 0.
Enter a Date (required)and Time.
The system automatically provides text in the Reference Num field. Change the default text as desired.
Select a Transaction Description.
Complete other fields, as desired.
Select Ok. The updated Part Quantity and Last Modified Date appear in the grid.
The system adds a new Transactions record for all three types of counts: Count, Original Quantity and Transaction Type. (Loc Count Adj Qty +, Loc Count Adj Qty -, or Loc Count No Adj).
New Part History records are added for positive adjustments only.
For negative adjustments, the Adjustment quantity is subtracted from the Current Quantity column of the oldest Part History record(s) showing a non-zero quantity.
Issue Parts | Selected Record
Allocates Parts to either Employees or Assets within Lucity from the Warehouse Location.
In the Warehouse Inventory > Parts module, click the to expand the desired Parts record to which you want to issue Parts.
In the Parts > Inventory grid select a record from which you want to issue Parts.
The Part's Quantity must be > 0.
Click the Toolkit in the Inventory grid and select Issue Parts | Selected Record. The following window appears:
The Part Number, Part Description, Location ID, Location Description and Max Quantity, Date and Transaction Time will be populated.
Select the Issue to - Module to choose the module that you want to move Parts to. This selection will determine the picklist options in the next step.
Select the Issue to - Record to choose the record that you want to move Parts to. This selection will also populate the Reference and Description fields.
Enter a Quantity of parts that you want to issue (required).
Note: The window also displays the Part's Max Quantity available for comparison.
Select a Transaction Description.
Enter an Account Number if desired.
Select Ok.
The issued Parts will appear in the Returnable Parts grid for the Employee, Contractor or Asset.
The quantity will be adjusted in the Quantity column of the Part Warehouses > Locations > Parts grid for the record from which the Parts were issued.
Manual Quantity Adjustment | Selected Record
Adds a Transaction record that will bring the transaction count in line with the rest of the Part record's counts.
In the Warehouse Inventory > Parts module, click the to expand the desired Part record.
Click the Toolkit in the Inventory grid and select the Set Reorder Point (+) | Selected Record(s). The following pop-up appears:
Enter the inventory quantity in the Reorder Point that should trigger the system to send Restock Alerts for that Location.
Click OK. The tool runs and updates the Reorder Point.
Note: When the Reorder Point is modified for a single Location, the system finds the sum of the Reorder Points for all Locations in the grid. If this total is greater than the Reorder Point in the Parts form, the system will update the new quantity in the Reorder Point in Parts form.
Transfer Parts to Different Location | Selected Record
Transfers parts from one Warehouse Location to another. The new location can be within the same warehouse or a different warehouse.
In the Warehouse Inventory > Parts module, click the to expand the desired Part record.
Open the Inventory grid and select one or more records.
Click the Toolkit in the Inventory grid and select Transfer Parts to Different Location | Selected Record. A window opens with the Part Number, Part Description, FromLocation ID and From Location Description auto-populated:
Enter the Quantity of the part to transfer (required).
Enter a Date (required). This field will auto-populate with today's date but can be edited.
Select the To Location to where you wish to transfer the parts (required).
Select a Transaction Description.
Select an Employee.
Enter an Account.
If the Default Transaction Account Number from To Warehouse in Whse Transfer Tools work option is on, and the To Warehouse contains an Account Number, that value will populate here but can be changed.
Click Ok. The selected Parts are transferred to the selected To Location and the Description automatically populates with information about the transaction if it was left blank.
