Grouped PMs are scheduled PMs that enable you to create one PM record with separate schedules for each Group and its Asset. These PMs will generate one Work Order for each Group based on the Group's individual schedule. Each Work Order will also contain the Group's Asset.
Capabilities
Contains multiple groups.
Each group will have a single asset and a schedule that can be based on:
Fixed Scheduling
Floating Scheduling
Meter Based Scheduling
Mixed Scheduling
Will create a single Work Order per schedule that contains the asset from the related group.
Example uses
A car maintenance program based on the odometer of the vehicle. The work to be done to each vehicle is the same but each vehicle's schedule is different based on mileage and usage.
A pump station inspection program. Each pump station needs to be inspected bi-annually. The same tests, crews and resources are used on each inspection but each pump station in your network, but the work should be spread out so the inspections are in different months.
Note: The Add GroupsToolkits require you to add an Asset that will appear in the PM Grouped Assets grid. You will only be able to add one Asset on a Grouped PM. That Asset can be deleted, edited or exchanged for another Asset in the PM Grouped Assets grid. To add multiple Assets, create a Grouped Asset PM.

In the Group's Grouped PM Scheduling grid, click the Toolkit and select Add New Schedule to set the Group Schedule. Repeat for each Group that needs a Schedule. More information on PM Group Scheduling.
Now that the PM is set up and has Groups, Asset(s) and Schedules, the PM will generate one Work Order for each Group and its Asset the next time each Group's Schedule is triggered.
