Shared Tabs are Dashboard tabs that are shared among multiple users. These tabs are designed to enable administrators to make changes to a tab and apply those changes to all users who have that tab applied to their dashboard.
Users can create Shared Tabs in the Edit Dashboard Preferences window or with the Manage Shared tabs tool. However, once a tab is marked as shared, it must be edited using the Manage Shared Tabs tool. It cannot be edited from an Edit Dashboard Preferences window.
The Manage Shared Tabs tool is accessible only from the the Dashboard/Preferences window when the Templates option is selected at the top.
The user who wishes to apply shared tabs to users should have administrative permissions.

Lists Users or Templates for selection purposes. The scope of the records displayed in this grid is controlled by the radio buttons beneath it. |

Used to control which Users/Templates appear in the grid above. |

Used to move Users/Templates selected in the Users grid to the User the selected tab applies to grid. |

Lists users associated with the Shared Tab selected in the Sharable Dashboard Tabs grid. Users can be added or removed from this grid to associate/disassociate them with the selected Shared Tab. Any changes made to this grid are saved automatically. (Users must log out of Lucity Web and log back into it to see changes to their dashboard.) |
