Dashboard Tabs

Dashboard Tabs are "pages" of the Dashboard that display a set of related frames and plug-ins. Tabs appear down the left-hand side of the Dashboard. One user can have an unlimited number of tabs.

Tabs may be configured using the Add/Edit Dashboard Tab of the Admin Tool, which provides the following fields, options, and tools:

Mark the Enable Refresh Rate check box.
Enter the desired number of seconds into the provided field.
Click OK to accept the changes.
Note: By default, this option is turned off to reduce load on the system. Users can manually refresh data using the Refresh buttons.

Note: Lucity recommends that this value should not be less than 30 seconds. Every time the data refreshes, the frames reload, which collapses all reports, data drills, etc. Refreshing too frequently could cause users to lose their place in what they are doing.

Click the Add button or select a Frame and click Edit. The Frame window opens:
Enter a Frame Name. This is required and dictates how the Frame will be labeled on the dashboard.

	Tab options
	Name *	Specifies the name that should appear on the Tab on the dashboard. Distinguishes this tab from other tabs.
	Enable Refresh Rate:	Enables users to force the Tab to refresh at a specified interval (measured in seconds). This action refreshes all of the filters and reports in every frame on that tab.
	Frames
	Add	Adds a new Frame to the tab.
	Edit	Enables the user to edit the selected Frame.
	Delete	Deletes the selected Frame.
		Moves the selected Frame record up one space in the grid. The order of frames in the grid dictates the order they appear on the tab.
		Moves the selected Frame record down one space in the grid.
	OK	Indicates that the user accepts the changes and then closes the dialog box.
	Cancel	Cancels any changes made to this dialog box.
