The Toolkit in the Planning Tasks module provides the following functions:

Copy Resources From Task |
Enables the user to select a task in the same department and copy all of the resources from that task to the current task. |
Match Work Order Tasks |
Searches for all completed work orders with the same Task, Department, and Fiscal Year as the current record and flags them. Then, when a user runs the Perform Cost Update tool, the system can pull data from them. |
Perform Cost Update |
Updates the estimated and actual cost data on-demand, rather than waiting for the automatic nightly recalculation. |
Remove Existing Guidelines for Filterset |
Deletes all guideline references for the records in the filterset and unchecks the Modify Guidelines check box on the Specific Guidelines tab. |
Update Resource Costs using Classifications |
This feature can be used after a Fiscal Year has been copied (using the Replicate Fiscal Year Tool) to update unit costs that have been modified in the Classification module. This tool will update all modified Resource Unit Costs in the Planning Task module for the current Fiscal Year record, update the Total Cost, and then, recalculate all Planning Task costs. |
Note: These Toolkit functions enable users to update the calculations on-demand; however, the Lucity PM Service also runs these calculations each night.
