The Toolkit in this module provides the following functions:

Copy Resources From Task

This feature prompts for a task in the same department, then copies all of the resources from that task to the current task.

Match Work Order Tasks

This feature searches for all "completed" work orders with the same task, department, and fiscal year as the current record. These work orders are then flagged so cost data can be pulled from them when the Perform Cost Update tool is used.

Perform Cost Update

This feature updates the estimated and actual cost data on demand as opposed to waiting until the nightly recalculation.

Remove Existing Guidelines for Filterset

This feature deletes all guideline references for the records in the filterset and un-checks the Modify Guidelines check box on the Specific Guidelines tab.

Update Resource Costs using Classifications

This feature can be used after a Fiscal Year has been copied (using the Replicate Fiscal Year Tool) to update unit costs that have been modified in the Classification module. This tool will update all modified resource unit costs in the Planning Task module for the current fiscal year record, update the total cost, and then recalculate all Planning Task costs.

Note: These Toolkit functions allow users to update the calculations on-demand; however, these calculations are also run each night by the Lucity PM Service.
