Remember, the types of forms you can create are determined by the selections you made in the three drop down menus at the top of the Form Manager. These allow you to indicate the type of program (i.e. Work Order, Request, Fleet), the module (i.e. Work Order, Request, Fleet), and the type of component (i.e. Resources, Tasks, Requestors, Components).
To create a custom form, click the "New" button at the bottom of the Form Manager.
If you are creating a parent record (i.e. Work Order Module, Work Requests, Fleet, etc.), you will be able to create either a General Form or a Detail Form. The following window will appear:
Type a unique Form Name in the field provided.
If you are creating a parent form, determine whether you'd like to create a View or a Form.
A View creates the overall structure of the online form. It displays data in Grid format. You can have a parent grid as well as child grids (these are like the parent modules and child records in the desktop software).
A Form is used for adding a new record, editing existing records, or viewing details about a single object. These forms may be tied to grids, or may be used alone as request submittal forms.
