Status Tab

This tab allows you to associate your Planning Department with a Division, Sub-Division, Area, and Sub-Area. In addition, you can use this tab to track this department's working days per month. The fields in this tab are described below:

Field Name

Definition

Division

This field contains a user-defined, code-description pick list. It allows you to specify the groups or divisions within the department.

Sub-Division

This field contains a user-defined, code-description pick list. It allows you to organize your department division into smaller sub-divisions.

Area

This field contains a user-defined, code-description pick list. It allows you to define a specific area within your sub-division.

Sub-Area

This field contains a user-defined, code-description pick list. It allows you to organize your areas in to smaller sub-areas.

Working Days per Month

The Working Days per Month are automatically carried over by the system when a Fiscal Year is selected in the header. These fields can edited if desired.

Total Days

Using the data in the Working Days per Month fields, the system automatically calculates the Total Days.

Hours/Day

This field is used to indicate the typical working hours per day.

Note: Once you save the record you cannot edit the data in the Division, Sub-Division, Area, and Sub-Area fields. Be certain to complete your Department setup on this Status tab before saving and closing the record.
