Delete/Disassociating a Feature Class Configuration

Feature class configurations can be removed from both a normal geodatabase connection and from a replica. Removing the feature class from a geodatabase configuration will remove it from any associated replicas as well. For information on deleting/disassociating multiple feature classes at once go here.

How To

Delete a feature class configuration - Geodatabase

  1. Select a feature class from the geodatabase configuration and right-click on the node.
  2. Select Delete.

    Note: This option is not available for replica geodatabases, instead read the bottom section

  3. The following prompt will appear asking for confirmation to delete the feature class

    Delete fc message

  4. If the feature class is associated to multiple workspaces you will receive the following message:

    Delete fc message_2

  5. Click yes to delete

Disassociate a Feature Class - Replica Geodatabase

  1. Select the replica feature class to disassociate a feature class from and right-click on the node.
  2. Select Disassociate. The feature class will automatically be disassociated from this replica geodatabase
