Lucity GIS Edit tools include a tool used for renumbering street segments, intersections, and structures. Because Lucity tracts which asset is which by common id it needs this special tool to know when the id is being changed. This changes the number in the map and tells lucity to change the related Lucity record's number too.
Note: This tool is only enabled if there is one feature selected in the map.
How To
Renumber a feature:
In ArcMap, start an edit session.
Select a street feature in the map.
Click the Street Feature Renumber tool on the Lucity GIS Edit Toolbar.
The renumber tool requires that edits be saved before and after performing the renumber. One of the following prompts will appear.
Click Yes and the following dialog will appear.
Enter the new number and select OK.
The following message will appear when the process is finished.
The feature's common id will be updated as well as any related features. For example, if it is a street intersection, the intersection number will change in the geodatabase and in Lucity. If that intersection is attached to street segments, those will be updated too.
