Recalculate All Work Order Costs for Current Filter

This is a time intensive Toolkit function that rolls up the costs from the resource all the way up to the main work order. This is different from the Recalculate Work Order Costs from Tasks function as that function only updates the work order costs. It does not recalculate the resource costs and roll them up to the task as this option does. This option will work on the current filterset.

1. This function requires that the user have permissions to "Edit Closed Work Orders" and "Work Order - General Edit".
2. To use this function, execute the Recalculate All Work Order Costs for Current Filter option in the module Toolkit .
3. You'll see a progress bar while the update is processing.

   

   Note: This Toolkit option may take substantial time to process. If you only need to update the main work order costs and not the task and resource costs, use the Recalculate Work Order Costs from Tasks option instead.
