This toolkit function is used to distribute the Total Work Order Task Costs (in the Tasks grid) among all assets included on the Assets tab of the work order. Consider the following:
This Toolkit function will recalculate the per asset cost for all work orders in the current filter set.
In order for this function to work, there must be a Total Cost greater than 0 and at least one Asset included in the work order.
If there is more than one asset included in the work order, the cost will be divided evenly among the assets. For example, if there is a total cost of $100 and there are two assets, the system will calculate a WO Cost of $50 for each asset.
You'll see a progress bar while this toolkit function is being executed. Once the process is complete, the per asset cost will be entered into the WO Cost field for all records on the Assets tab.
