You can add multiple RSS Feeds to your frames. To add a feed, complete the steps below:
Note: RSS is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as news stories, blog entries, and podcasts in a standardized manner. An RSS document (called a "feed") contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text.
Type the URL of the RSS Feed in the text box.
Select the maximum amount of feed items to be displayed on the Dashboard frame using the Maximum drop-down. An individual feed could have a large amount of items, thus cluttering your Dashboard display. You can use this feature to prevent excess clutter.
RSS Feeds are broken up into several parts; one part is called the Title. The title is typically used to briefly describe the feed. Mark the "Display Title" checkbox if you'd like for it to appear on the Dashboard page.
Mark the "Link Title" checkbox if you'd like the feed's title to become a hyperlink to the main article.
Another part of a standard RSS Feed is the description. This is typically used to fully describe the feed. Mark the "Display Description" text box if you'd like for it to appear on the Dashboard page.
Click OK to accept the RSS settings.
Important! While Lucity attempts to remove any scripting from RSS feeds before rendering them on the Dashboard, we cannot guarantee that external feeds are safe. When you or one of your users subscribes to a feed, they do so at their own risk.
