The General tab allows you to enter basic information about the building. This includes the building location, land use, structure type, property class, construction information, number of units, and other details about the building. In addition, this tab has two fields with special functions. These functions are described below:

The Site Record Number field allows you to associate your building with a pre-defined Facility Site. Use F9 or click the field caption to view the pick list. When the Site Record Number is selected, the system will automatically fill the Site Number and Site Name fields with the corresponding information. The building in this record will then appear in the associated Facility Site Inventory module. |
Note: When you filter on the address field, only the numeric portion of the address is filtered.
