Milestones Tab

The Milestones tab displays all of the milestones set for an asset and tracks any changes in the date for each milestone.

Activities Grid

The Activities grid links records from the Milestones module to the BMP Asset. These activities are events that must occur in the life of the asset; for instance, a survey, a proposal before the city council, or a review of the asset. The item selected in this grid controls the records displayed in the Tracking Activity Date Changes grid.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether the data appear in ascending or descending order.

Right-click in the grid to add a record.
Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, or Load from Milestone Library.
Double-click on an existing record to open it.
How to add a Milestone record
1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record.
2. The BMP Asset Milestones module opens and displays a new record. The BMP Asset Number field is completed automatically.
3. Enter the Activity Type and Start Date.
4. Complete other information as desired.
5. Save and close the record.
How to load a Milestone Library
1. Right-click in the Activity grid and select Load from Milestone Library. The following window appears:
2. Highlight the desired Milestone Library and click Select.
3. All items in the library will be loaded into the Activity grid.

Tracking Activity Date Changes Grid

The Tracking Activity Date Changes grid provides a record of any changes in dates for the activity selected in the Activities grid. These records are automatically generated when users change dates on an Activity record. Records cannot be added manually to this grid.
