Violations/Enforcements Tab

The Asset Violations/Enforcements tab lists all Notices, Violations and Corrective Actions related to the BMP asset.

The Notices and Violations grid displays the Notices and Violations records associated with the BMP asset and its inspections. The records that appear here come from the Storm > BMPs > Setup > Violations module.

Records can show up in this grid two different ways. First, the grid displays records that users added by right clicking in the grid and adding a record, which is attached to the asset. Second, the grid automatically also displays violation records related to an asset's inspections. The records selected in this grid control which records are displayed in the Corrective Actions grid.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following pop-up appears:
Enter the Occurred Date (required).
Select the Notice/Violation (required). Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list of Notices/Violations.
Complete other fields as desired.
Save and close the record.

The Corrective Actions grid displays the Corrective Actions related to the record selected in the Notice and Violations grid. The Corrective Actions records come from the Storm > BMPs > Setup > Corrective Actions module.

Select a Notice/Violation record in the Notices and Violations grid. The new Corrective Action will be associated with this Notice/Violation.
At the bottom of the tab, right-click in the Corrective Actions grid and select Add Record. The following pop-up appears:
Enter the Corrective Action (required).
Enter the Notification Date (required).
Complete other fields as desired.
Save and close the record.

Select a record in the Notices and Violations grid.
Select one or more actions in the Corrective Actions grid.
Right-click in the Corrective Actions grid and select Set Corrective Action to Completed.
The selected record(s) will be updated.
