Facility Header Data

The IPT Facilities header contains general information to identify, describe, and locate each facility. The header appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

Field

Function

Facility Number

A user-defined, unique numerical identifier for the facility.

Facility Name

Specifies the name of the facility.

Active Facility

Indicates whether this facility is actively registered with the IPT program.

Property ID Tag

Enables users to specify which property from the Customer Address module is associated with the facility.

Address/Apartment/City/State/Zip

Identifies the facility address. These fields are automatically populated from the Customer Address record when a Property ID Tag is selected.

Facility Phone

Provides a contact phone number for the IPT facility.

How To Link the IPT Facility to an Address Record

  1. Click the edit button to edit the record.
  2. Click on the Property ID Tag button for a list of property ID tags and addresses from the Customer Address module.

    Property_ID_picklist

  3. Select a Property ID Tag. The address information is automatically completed on the Facility record.
  4. If there is already an address on the Facility record, the following prompt appears:

    property_ID_warning

  5. Select Yes to overwrite the address on the Facility record with the address attached to the Property ID Tag.
