Eden Integration

This section contains information regarding the integration between Lucity and the Eden financial system.

Requirements: Eden and Lucity databases must either be linked SQL servers or be on the same SQL server. For performance issues, it is recommended that they reside on the same SQL server.

Available Integrations

The Lucity Work program is integrated with the following Eden InForum Gold programs:

• Payroll - Imports employee timesheet data from your work orders into the InForum Gold Payroll module.
• General Ledger/Project Accounting - Imports resource costs from the work order module into Journal Entries in the General Ledger module.  
• Inventory
  • Inventory Item update - Updates the Lucity Materials module with Items from the Eden Inventory.
  • Inventory Request Import - Imports work order > resource information from Lucity into Eden to request parts.
• Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Receivable Invoices - Creates invoices based on billing information entered on a Lucity work order.
  • Accounts Receivable Customers - Allows Lucity Users to select or create customers in Eden.
• Eden Customer Database - Searches for customers in the Work Requests module directly from the InForum Gold customer database instead of using the Lucity customer database.

  Note: The "Update Customers from Requests" option in Work Options will not apply if using the Eden customer database. However, other search options (e.g. "Search for customer by phone number" and "Search for customer by contact?" will still be applicable.  There is no special documentation on this integration because it behaves in an identical manner to the normal request functionality, except that it pulls information from the InForum Gold Customer, Account, Parcel, and Owner data instead of using the Lucity Customer data.
