Milestones Tab

The Milestones tab contains grids that display all of the milestones set for an asset and the date changes associated to each milestone.

Activities grid

This grid links records from the Milestones module to the BMP Asset. These activities are events that must occur in the life of the asset. They might be events like a survey or a proposal in front of the city council or a review of the asset. The item that is selected in this grid controls the records that are displayed in the Tracking Activity Date Changes grid.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether the data appears in ascending or descending order.

• Right-click in the grid to add a record.
• Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, or Load from Milestone Library.
• Double-click on an existing record to open it.

  How To Add a Record

  1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record.
  2. The BMP Asset Milestones module will open to a blank record.
  3. The BMP Asset Number field will be filled out automatically.
  4. Fill out the Activity Type and Start Date.
  5. Fill out other information as desired.
  6. Save and Close the record.

  How To Load a Milestone Library

  1. Right-click in the Activity grid and select Load from Milestone Library. The following window will appear:

     

  2. Click on the desired library and click Select.
  3. All the items in the library will be loaded into the grid.

Tracking Activity Date Changes grid

This grid displays Date Change Tracking records that are associated to the record selected in the Activities grid. These are created automatically when an Activity record's dates are changed. Records cannot be manually added to this grid.
