Lucity Mobile Map Setup

Map Mode is an important part of the Lucity Mobile app. It provides users the ability to view a map on their android devices that is tailored to their needs. They can locate addresses, create work orders for assets, and bookmark locations for later use. Setting up the map for Lucity Mobile is almost the same as setting up the Lucity webmap. However, it does NOT require a license for the Lucity Webmap.

3. Creating a map in the Lucity Administration tool

Requirements

For an agency using their own map services

• ArcServer
• ArcServer must be accessible from the Android Device (through the DMZ or a VPN)

For an agency that just needs a basemap and address locater

• They just need access to ArcGIS Online or other hosted resources.

Note: Users who have permission to use the Lucity Mobile app automatically haver permission to access Map Mode and ANY map that is setup in the Lucity Administration Tool.
