Lucity Mobile Server setup

Before using the Lucity Mobile app the Lucity Mobile Server must be installed.

The Lucity Mobile Server Installation must be performed at the server where the application will reside. Installation instructions may vary slightly depending on which database is being used (Oracle or SQL Server). It is recommended to close all Windows applications before running the Lucity software setup.

Installation Prerequisites: The Lucity Mobile Server Install requires that (if using Windows Server 2003) .NET 3.5 service pack 1 and .NET 4.0, IIS 6.0, and ASP .NET be installed. For Windows Server 2008 OS, WCF Activation must be installed.

Note: The Lucity Mobile Server is used in conjunction with the Lucity Mobile application. Only licensed users of Lucity Mobile (an android app) will be able to access the functionality within the Lucity Mobile Server.

Important: The Lucity Mobile Server MUST be installed in the Web Server's DMZ or be accessible through a VPN connection from the android device to the web server.
