Street Name Preferences

Street Name Preferences are required to define the fields used to locate cross streets.  In order to use the Locate Cross Street command under the Find Features menu, you must define the Street Name Field, the other fields are optional.

• Street Direction Field (Ex. N, E, S, W)
• Street Name Field (Ex. Cherry, Main, 23RD)  *This field is required.
• Street Type Field (Ex. ST, RD, AVE, LN)
• Street Suffix Field (Ex. NB, SB)

  Note: Although the Street Name Field is the only field required, you might find it beneficial to define all the fields to obtain a more precise cross street location.
