Address Subset Example

This example demonstrates how to view the locations of your Industrial customers in the map.

  1. Open the Customer Address module and go to the Filter.
  2. Set a filter for Building Type = 'Industrial'

    Note:  If you do not have industrial customers, choose a different building type, or query on a different field if you do not have this data populated.  This is just one example of an attribute that may be queried on.

  3. Click Go.  If you have records in the filter, you can create a subset.  Look in the lower left hand corner and you will see a record count Record Count.
  4. Click on the Subset Manager button.  A "New Subset" dialog will appear.  Enter a unique subset name.

  5. In Lucity GIS, click on the Subset Manager button, select "Address Subset", and click "Load".

  6. Highlight the subset you created and click "Load".
  7. You will see a black dot on your map anywhere there is an industrial customer.
