Problem Notifications

Using the Work Flow Setup > Problems module > Notifications tab general problem notifications can be configured (set up in the Notification Setup module). These will be automatically sent when that problem is selected in a request.  These can be used to update employee's, and other recipients with Work Request information.

Setup a general problem notification

  1. Create an email template in the General > Notification Setup module.

    Note: The notification template must have one of these values. (The module could also be set to Work Order)

  2. Go to the Work Flow Setup > Problems module > Notification tab.
  3. Right click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:

  4. Select a notification label from the pick list. This pick list is from the Notification Setup module.
  5. Check the Request box for this notification to be sent when this problem is used on a request. (BOTH Request and Work Order can be checked if needed.)

    Note: The Last Modified By and Last Modified Date fields are automatically populated.

  6. Click to save the record.
  7. Click to close the window.
