The Pavement module provides you with four pavement setup modules. These modules allow you to create your pavement standards, record data on pavement distresses, assign weights to those distresses, and set up your severity and density ratings. You can use this module to associate pavement types with distresses created in the Standards and Pavement Distresses setup modules. These will be the distresses that are rated when inspecting the selected pavement type. The relationships created here will be used in the Field Inspections module to calculate PCI. When a pavement type is selected in the Field Inspections module, the system will import all distresses associated with that pavement type. The model runs will use these matchups and PCI values to determine which street segments to select for rehabilitation.
