Setting Up Notifications
Notification Formats
There are four notification formats available:
Email Text Messages Reports (sent to printers) Lucity Messenger (pop-up messages) Users can create multiple notifications for each module or using each format; however, certain notification types (such as the Customer Thank You) can be sent only via email. Users can also automatically insert module data into the subject line or body of email notifications.
Modules that Support Use of Notifications
Equipment
Send emails to the employee the equipment is assigned to. Equipment Inspection
Send automatic emails when inspection thresholds have been met or exceeded. Fleet
Send emails to fleet vehicle operators. Work
Work Requests Alert employees that a problem was used in a Work Request or is overdue. Thank customers for their requests. Confirm that you have taken care of a problem a customer reported. Work Orders Alert supervisors and lead workers that a new Work Order has been created and assigned to them. Notify employees that a Work Order has been created using a specific task or problem. Alert employees that a specific task has been used in a work order, has been changed, or is overdue. Notify employees when a Work Order is completed (based on the main task). Alert employees when priority on a work order has changed (based on the main task). Work Permits Send an email notification to a permit holder's email address. Work Project Management Water
Send emails to the owners of water backflow preventers. Sewer
Send emails to sewer overflow investigators. Send emails to contacts at, and owners of, facilities with FOG agreements. Send emails to contacts at, and owners of, industrial pretreatment facilities.
