The General tab consists of several fields and two grids: Grease Traps/Grease Interceptor Inspection Details and Inspection Checklist. These grids allow users to track inspections and view the inspection checklist for a particular grease trap/interceptor.
Field
Function
Inspection type

Facility Contact
The primary contact for the facility.
Contact Phone
The phone number for the facility's primary contact.
The Grease Traps/Grease Interceptor Inspection Details grid allows users to enter inspection data for each grease trap/interceptor attached to the selected facility.
A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in each grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appears in ascending or descending order.
Right-click in the grid to add a record.
Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record.
Double-click on an existing record to open it.
Note: When the Facility Number in the header data is selected, all of the extractors attached to that facility are automatically supplied in this grid. All other records added to this grid will not be tied to a specific extractor.
Select and right click on a Grease Trap record in the Grease Traps/Grease Interceptor Inspection Details grid and select Edit Record. The following window will appear
The grayed out fields are ones that are automatically filled from the facility record.
The left side of the record has several general information/condition fields to record the inspection. Fill out any desired fields
The right side contains 2 columns of fields for measurements taken during the inspection. They are labeled 1 for the inlet and 2 for the outlet bays. However, they can be used any way an agency decides to use them. Fill out the measurement fields. Then save and close the record.
Grease Depth 1
How deep the grease is in the trap
Deposition Depth 1
How deep the deposition is in the trap
Total Fluid Depth 1
How deep the fluid is in the trap
Percent Full 1
Calculated by (Grease Depth 1 + Deposition Depth 1) / Total Fluid Depth
% Full Violation 1
Auto-filled from the % Full Violation 1 field on the FOG Extractor record. This is compared to Percent Full 1 to tell if the Extractor was in Violation
Violation 1
This box is automatically checked if the extractor is in violation. If the % Full Violation 1 field is lower than the Percent Full 1 field, then the trap is in violation.
Note: Violation 2 does the same thing as Violation 1, just for another set of measurements.
