When you click on each component's property, a description will appear below the grid. This helps provide a quick reference. A full listing of the various field properties available is found in the table below.

The caption above the field where the asset is selected on the screen. |
Caption for Type |

Component Height |
Field height in pixels as it appears on the screen. |
Component Type |
The type of component in the field. This is for informational purposes only. |
Component Width |
Field width in pixels as it appears on the screen. |
Control Type |
This field property is used to define how code-description fields will be displayed on the screen. Components can be displayed as one of the following:
Note: Depending on the type of component in the field, only certain options are available; however, for almost every type of component, there is at least one option that will display both the codes and types so that the user can select the specific item when the types are duplicated. The single drop down items are intended for use if you do not have duplicate items in your list. If you do have duplicate items, such as two problems with the same type but different codes, then you should select the control type that will display both the code and the type. |

Carry Over |
Enables/Disables the green Carry Over button for the selected field. Note: Fields that are marked as read only will never display the carry over button in the web, even if this option is enabled. To stop users from seeing carry over buttons for the entire form, the grid the form is attached to must be edited to not show the "Display Carry Over Buttons" button. More information |
Default Asset |
The asset entered in this field will automatically appear when a new record is created. It can be overwritten by the user before submittal unless the field is marked as read-only. |
Default or Default Value |
Any value selected in this field will automatically appear when a new record is created. It can be overwritten by the user before submittal unless the field is marked as read-only. |
Default Date Time |
This property allows you to set a date or time that will be defaulted by the system when a new record is created. It can be overwritten by the user before submittal unless the field is marked as read-only. |
Default Now |
When set to True, the current date or time will automatically appear when a new record is created. It can be overwritten by the user before submittal unless the field is marked as read-only. |
Default Location |
The initial location where the frame was placed; for reference only. |
Default Type |
The asset type entered in this field will automatically appear when a new record is created. It can be overwritten by the user before submittal unless the field is marked as read-only. |
Facility Option |
This field allows you to select the type of control from a list. This determines how the control will display Facility Asset Types on the screen:

Force Association |
Work Flow popups such as Problem and Cause are "Force Associated" with Categories. This means that only the Problems (or Causes, etc.) that are associated with the Category will be available for selection; however, the presence of a "Show All" function allows users to choose Problems or Causes that are not associated with the Category.
Note: The "Show All" option is only available if the ControlType is set to "Dual Textbox". Caution: If a Category does not have Problems, Causes, etc. associated with it, or if a Problem identifies a default Supervisor who is not also associated with the Category, users without "Show Enabled" permissions will be unable to complete the web form if the Problem, Cause, or Supervisor field is Required. These associations and defaults are established in the Lucity Desktop application, Work Flow Setup. We recommend that you throughly test all forms before implementing their use. |
Hidden |
If set to True, the field will be hidden. |
Hidden Asset |
If set to True, the drop-down list for selecting specific assets is hidden. |
Hidden Type |
If set to True, the drop-down list for a code type field is hidden. |
Label |
Text header for field as it appears on the screen. |
Label for Asset |
The caption above the field where the asset is selected on the screen. |
Label for Type |
The caption above the field where the asset type is selected on the screen. |
Limit List |
When this is set to True, a button will appear on the form allowing you to select the specific items available to users. This allows you to limit the pick list to the items specified. |
Limit Type |
If set to True, only valid asset types can be entered on the form. |
Location |
The location of the component on the screen. The location is automatically updated as components are dragged and dropped in the WYSIWYG editor. |
Max Value |
If a maximum value is entered in the field, then the user cannot input a value larger than this amount. Leaving this field blank provides for no upper limit. |
Min Value |
If a minimum value is entered in this field, then the user cannot input a value smaller than this amount. Leaving this field blank provides for no lower limit. |
Park Option |
This field allows you to select a type of control from the list. This determines how the control will display Park Asset Types on the screen.

Read Only |
If set to True, this field is read-only and data cannot be entered by the user. |
Required |
If set to True, the user must enter information in this field in order to submit the form. Note: The Required property for the "Category" field will default to True. All other fields' Required properties will default to False. |
Shaded |
If set to True, the frame will be shaded. |
Width of Asset Dropdown |
The width of the drop down list in pixels as it appears on the screen. |
Width of Type Dropdown Code |
The width of the drop down list in pixels as it appears on the screen. |
