The General tab records basic information about a vehicle. These fields may include the operator of the vehicle and their email address, the department that uses the vehicle, the year the vehicle was made, VIN, license plate number, fuel type, fuel tank size, oil type, engine oil quantity, and whether the vehicle uses an hourmeter or odometer. Identify a low or high priority vehicle. A high priority vehicle would be one that is in high demand, such as an emergency vehicle or fire truck.
A shared field is one that shares a field caption and/or pick list with another field. Below is a list of the shared fields in the General tab.

This field allows users to select assigned an employee to the vehicle. The list of employees for this field comes from the Note: If the agency does not own Work this field will not be available. |
Operator Email |
Fill out the operators email address in this field. This email address will automatically be used as the recipient when a fleet notification is sent. |
WO Equip Code Note: If an agency does not own the Work program, this field will be unavailable. |
This field is used to link the vehicle with another piece of equipment (from Equipment Inventory) OR to create a new record for the vehicle in the Press Press |
Site ID |
This field allows users to assign the vehicle to a specific site. The list of available sites comes from the Note: If the agency does not own Work this field will not be available. |
Building ID |
This field allows users to assign the vehicle to a specific building. The list of available buildings comes from the Note: If the agency does not own Work this field will not be available. |
