Add
Adds a new record. (Opens the form to a blank record.)
Save
Saves changes made to the record.
Save and Add New
Saves the current record and adds a new one using the green Carry Over buttons. Note: This only appears when the Carry Over tool is turned on.
Save and Close
Saves changes made to the record and closes the form.
Undo
Undoes the last edit.
Redo
Redoes the last edit that was undone.
Generates a Work Order for the current record. Users may be required to select a Default WO Category if more than one applicable category exists.
Lets users attach Documents to a record or view attached Documents. The button appears orange if the selected record has an attached Document; it appears white if no Documents are attached.
Enables users to view and/or change a field's properties.
The button appears only if the user has the Field Properties permission for the module.
Carry Over
Displays the Carry Over buttons, which appear to the left of the related fields. Carry over buttons allow users to flag fields to be carried over to a new record. When a carry over button is enabled and a new record is created the value in that field will be copied over to the new record.

Drop down options
The drop down next to the carry over button provides the option to:
- Enable all - Displays carry over buttons and marks them all for carry over.
- Disable all - Displays carry over buttons and unmarks them all for carry over.
Button Appearance
- This button only shows up when the
button shows up. - Some fields may not have Carry Over buttons depending on settings and form configuration.
- When this button is activated, the button is replaced with the
button.
Display Field Properties
Enables buttons next to the fields. When clicked the button display a pop-up with the field's properties.
Forward / Backward Navigation
Moves to the previous or next record, based on the order in which the records appeared in the grid the form was launched from. Note: Does NOT save changes before returning/advancing.
First and Last record
Moves to the first or last record in the record set. Note: Does NOT save changes before returning/advancing.
Favorite
Marks the form as a Favorite. This only appears that are accessed directly from the Menu.
Error
Appears when something on the form is in error and the record cannot be saved. Click on this button to see the error.
Refresh
Reloads the record to apply any changes others might have made.
Menu
The menu displays a list of the following tools:
- Information - Provides information about the current form and module.
- Share with Others - Shares a new or completed form with another Lucity user with a link.
- Enter Design Mode - Opens the form in design mode which enables adminstrators to modify the forms contents, layout, and properties.
