Method 1: Add an Inspection Record from the IPT Facility Module

1. In the IPT Facilities module, click the button to expand the IPT Facility record to which you want to add an inspection.
2. Select the Facility Inspection grid and click the button. The system creates a new Inspection record with the selected Facility's ID in the Facility Number field.
3. Continue to Filling out the Record (below).

Method 2: Add an Inspection Record from the IPT Facility Inspections Module

1. Open the Industrial Pretreatment > Inspection module.
2. Click the button. A new Inspection record appears.
3. Enter or select a Facility Number (required).
4. Continue to Filling out the Record....

Filling out the Record

1. Enter the Inspection Date (required).
   • The combination of Facility Number and Inspection Date must form a unique combination.
2. Assess the General Condition of the facility and enter any applicable test results.
3. Complete other fields as desired.
4. Use the Maintenance Requested or Needs Repair fields to automatically create a Request or Work Order for the facility, if desired.
5. Click the button to save the record. The new Inspection record appears in the grid.

Click the button in the Inspection Checklist grid and select the Load Inspection Checklist tool. The following pop-up appears:

Note: This list only includes Checklists designed for the current module.

1. Select a Checklist.
2. Click OK. The system loads the checklist items into the grid.

1. Create a filter to identify the Inspection Checklist Items you would like to update.
2. Click the button in the Inspection Checklist toolbar and select Populate Pass Code | Current Filter. A prompt similar to the following appears with a warning about how many records will be affected:

   

3. Click Yes. The following pop-up appears:

   

4. Select the Code you would like to apply to the Checklist Items in the grid.
5. Click OK. The system updates the Pass field on all of the Checklist Items in the filterset as directed.

1. Select one or more Checklist Items in the grid.
2. Click the button in the Inspection Checklist toolbar and select Populate Pass Code | Selected Records. The following pop-up appears:

   

3. Select the Code you would like to apply to the selected Checklist Items.
4. Click OK. The system updates the Pass field on the selected Checklist Items as directed.

1. Click the button to expand the IPT Facility Inspection record to which you want to add a violation.
2. Select the Notices and Violations grid and click the button.
3. Use the pick-list to select an Enforcement Type.
4. Enter the Occurred Date.
5. Choose the specific Notice/Violation that applies. (These pick-list options are carried over from the Violation Setup module.)
   • The Occurred Date and Notice/Violation fields are required and must form a unique combination with the parent record.
6. Complete other fields as desired.
7. Click the button to save the record. The Notice/Violation now appears in the Inspection record's Notices and Violations grid.

Using the button, expand the record to which you want to add a corrective action.

1. Select the Violations (or Notices and Violations) tab.
2. Using the button, expand the Violation record to which you want to add a Corrective Action.
3. Select the Corrective Actions grid and click the button. The Corrective Action form opens.
4. Use the pick-list to select a Corrective Action and enter the Notification Date.
   • These fields are required and must form a unique combination for the selected Violation.
5. Complete other fields as desired.
6. Click the button to save the record. The Correction Action now appears in the grid.

Method 1: From the Inspection-Related Notice/Violation

1. In the IPT Inspections module, click the button to expand the desired Inspection record.
2. In the Notices and Violations, grid, click the button to expand the Notice/Violation to which you want to link to an Enforcement.
3. In that Notice/Violation's Enforcements grid, click the button. A list of all Enforcement records linked to the Inspection appears.
4. Select the Enforcement(s) you wish to associate with the inspection-related Notice/Violation.
5. Click OK. The Enforcement now appears in the Notices and Violation record's Enforcement grid and the Notice/Violation now appears in the Enforcement record's Notices and Violations grid.

Method 2: From the Inspection-Related Enforcement

1. In the IPT Inspections module, click the button to expand the desired Inspection record.
2. In the Enforcements grid, click the button to expand the Enforcement you want to link to an inspection-related Notice/Violation.
3. In that Enforcement record's Notices and Violations grid, click the button. A list of all Enforcement records that are linked to the Inspection but not linked to another Notice or Violation appears.
4. Select the Notice/Violation you wish to associate with this Enforcement.
5. Click OK.
   • In the Inspection module, the Notice/Warning(s) now appears in the Enforcement record's Notices and Violations grid, and the Enforcement appears in the Notice and Violation record's Enforcement grid.
   • The relationship between the Notice/Warning and the Enforcement are also documented in the related facility's record in the IPT Facility module.

Using the button, expand the record to which you want to add a corrective action.

1. Select the Violations (or Notices and Violations) tab.
2. Using the button, expand the Violation record to which you want to add a Corrective Action.
3. Select the Corrective Actions grid and click the button. The Corrective Action form opens.
4. Use the pick-list to select a Corrective Action and enter the Notification Date.
   • These fields are required and must form a unique combination for the selected Violation.
5. Complete other fields as desired.
6. Click the button to save the record. The Correction Action now appears in the grid.

Using the button, expand the IPT Facility or IPT Facility Inspection record to which you want to add an Enforcement record.

1. Select the Enforcement grid and click the button. The appropriate Enforcement form appears.
2. Use the pick-list to select a Enforcement Type and enter the Occurred Date.
   • These fields are required and must form a unique combination for the selected Facility.
3. Complete other fields as desired.
4. Click the button to save the record. The Enforcement now appears in the grid.

Method 1: From the Inspection-Related Notice/Violation

1. In the IPT Inspections module, click the button to expand the desired Inspection record.
2. In the Notices and Violations, grid, click the button to expand the Notice/Violation to which you want to link to an Enforcement.
3. In that Notice/Violation's Enforcements grid, click the button. A list of all Enforcement records linked to the Inspection appears.
4. Select the Enforcement(s) you wish to associate with the inspection-related Notice/Violation.
5. Click OK. The Enforcement now appears in the Notices and Violation record's Enforcement grid and the Notice/Violation now appears in the Enforcement record's Notices and Violations grid.

Method 2: From the Inspection-Related Enforcement

1. In the IPT Inspections module, click the button to expand the desired Inspection record.
2. In the Enforcements grid, click the button to expand the Enforcement you want to link to an inspection-related Notice/Violation.
3. In that Enforcement record's Notices and Violations grid, click the button. A list of all Enforcement records that are linked to the Inspection but not linked to another Notice or Violation appears.
4. Select the Notice/Violation you wish to associate with this Enforcement.
5. Click OK.
   • In the Inspection module, the Notice/Warning(s) now appears in the Enforcement record's Notices and Violations grid, and the Enforcement appears in the Notice and Violation record's Enforcement grid.
   • The relationship between the Notice/Warning and the Enforcement are also documented in the related facility's record in the IPT Facility module.
